A 33 YEAR-OLD polygamous man from Kensington village on the outskirts of Bulawayo allegedly bashed one of his wives for denying him conjugal rights.
Innocent Ncube appeared before Bulawayo magistrate Maxwell Ncube on Wednesday and was granted US$30 bail.
He was remanded to November 24.
The complainant in the matter is Talent Simakani.
Prosecutors said on May 3 at 9am Simakani was at home when Ncube arrived back form work.
He demanded to have sex with her, and she refused and a misunderstanding arose.
Ncube hit her with a hoe handle once on her right hand.
"I try to get her everything she wants, the real issue is about the bedroom problems,” he told the court.
