RUSSEL Chifura scored the only goal of the match as the ever improving Yadah shocked champions FC Platinum to register their first ever win at Mandava Stadium yesterday. The attacking midfielder finished off a flowing move that involved striker Jerry Chipangura and Cryrodge Denhere on 22nd minute.

The Harare side, playing in front of their three new signings from Brazil who watched from the stands, were full value for the three points as they moved out of the relegation zone into 12th position with 17 points. Yesterday's defeat was FC Platinum's fourth this season as they dropped to fifth position on the standings with 25 points, three behind log leaders Highlanders who play Herentals today.

The home side coach Norman Mapeza was surprisingly magnanimous in defeat.

"We started well but ended up conceding a very soft goal. We recovered well but I don't know what really happened (for us not to score). At the end of the day congratulations to Yadah, they came here with a good game plan, they managed to get that goal and they defended well," Mapeza said.

Yadah coach Expense Chitukutuku was excited his side executed their game plan well." The guys continue to play the way we like them to play and today we had a different game plan; to play the ball in the opponent's half. The win is a very good boost for the team and will also make the Brazilians more comfortable when they come in," said Chitukutuku before adding that the three Brazilians Perreira de Brito, Joao Pedro and Marques Barcelos, will be ready for the club's next match at home to Chicken Inn.
