Defending champions Herentals Queens maintained their grip on the top spot, emerging 2-0 victors against Conduit Soccer Academy at Gwanzura Stadium on Sunday.
Yeukai Chipatiko’s first-half strike set the tone, while Natasha Benza doubled the lead in the second half.
Herentals now have 62 points from 23 matches.
Chapungu Queens are hot on their heels, boasting 59 points from 24 matches.
The team staged a remarkable comeback against Highlanders Royals, winning 4-2.
Ethel Chinyerere scored a brace, while Ileana Mupandawana and Miranda Ncube added to the scoreline.
In other matches, Black Rhinos edged Sheasham Queens 2-0, with goals from skipper Daisy Kaitano and veteran Rutendo Makore.
