THE Zimbabwe Equestrian Federation (ZEF) has officially selected Terry Angelos to represent the nation at the Summer Youth Olympic Games this November in Dakar, Senegal.
Zimbabwe’s participation was initially uncertain due to shifting qualification procedures.
However, with support from the FEI, the International Olympic Committee, and the Zimbabwe Olympic Committee, ZEF secured the slot.
This event marks a milestone as the first Olympic competition hosted on African soil.
By confirming Angelos, ZEF becomes one of the first national federations to finalise its representative for the Games.
“Terry’s dedication and passion for the sport are exemplary,” ZEF stated.
“We wish him every success as he carries our flag in Dakar and continues to build Zimbabwe’s international reputation.”
Born January 4, 2010, Angelos is a rising star in show jumping with an impressive competitive record.
