Byo to host Carling Black Label DJ Clash finals

The DJs will battle for the ultimate title of National Champion DJ and the highly coveted prizes, worth over US$15 000.

Bulawayo will host 24 wheel spinners who will battle it out in the finals of the Carling Black Label DJ clash finals set for Friday night at the ZITF Hall 3.

The clash was launched in October with more than 250 wheel spinners registering to participate in the contest.

Eight regional DJ clashes were held in Masvingo, Mutare, Chinhoyi, Gweru, Bulawayo, Harare North, Harare South and Chitungwiza where winners from each region walked away with US$500 while the first runner up received US$250.

The DJs will battle for the ultimate title of National Champion DJ and the highly coveted prizes, worth over US$15 000.

First prize will carry a sum of US$3 000 plus a controller, Apple Mac laptop, studio monitor and cordless mic while the second prize will come with US$2 000, studio monitor, and cordless mic.

South African Amapiano stars Toss and Tyler ICU will grace the event as guest artistes on the night.
