The Orchestra Dendera Kings frontman, Sulu, as he is affectionately known, will stage one show in Plumtree at Kombani Lodge on July 19 and another in Esigodini at Athens the following night. Kombani entertainment manager Faith Dube confirmed the two shows to Southern Eye. “Sulu will ignite the place. We are still looking for more supporting acts and most probably we will work with Ndolwane Super Sounds and Sandra Ndebele for both shows,” he said. The Sean Timba  hitmaker has become a household name in the country. Sulu’s publicist Joe Nyamungoma has promised fans a scintillating performance and a show to remember. “Our fans know what we are capable of and we urge everyone to come and witness the best of dendera in Plumtree and Esigodini,” he said. The Dendera Kings, fresh from a United Kingdom tour, will this weekend stage another show in Uganda before the Matabeleland South shows. Dube urged fans to come in their numbers and also to make early bookings for both shows. It will not be the first time for Kombani Lodge to host a big artiste as they hosted Oliver Mtukudzi last December. Sulu scooped three awards at the National Arts and Merit Awards, taking home Outstanding Male Musician, Outstanding Album and The People’s Choice awards.
