SPECISS College Bulawayo High School yesterday received the prestigious Permanent Secretary’s Award from the Primary and Secondary Education ministry at a colourful ceremony in the city. Wisemen muleya Own correspondent
The award was presented to Speciss College Bulawayo High School authorities by the permanent secretary in the ministry, Constance Chigwamba.
The honour is given by the ministry to a high school that has produced good examination results, displayed high standards in its administrative and disciplinary procedures and maintained its infrastructure.
In 2014, Speciss would introduce Forms 1 and 2 classes, giving primary school graduates the chance to benefit from the college’s high standards of tuition.
The school received a cash prize of $5 000 in front of invited guests.
Chigwamba unveiled a plaque at the school.
