Zifa declined to issue Ndoro with an ITC in line with Fifa statutes and Chicken Inn chairman Lifa Ncube yesterday said they were in the process of negotiating with AmaZayoni for the lethal striker to return on loan and play before the second South African Football Association’s transfer window period which opens on January 1 next year.

He had scored 11 goals for the GameCocks in the first half of the season before starring for the Warriors in the Cosafa Castle Senior Challenge Cup and the African Nations Championships.

Ndoro penned a one-year renewable contract with Mpumalanga Black Aces after impressing the Clive Barker-led team and the South African side has since made part payment for the lanky forward.

“He is a Black Aces player, but for him to keep fit we will be negotiating with them so he comes and plays for us,” Ncube said yesterday.

The Chicken Inn boss is quoted on the club’s official Facebook page saying: “It seems Mpumalanga Black Aces sent an ITC request for Tendai Ndoro late and the transfer window had already closed.

“The timing of the deal was late. We might engage Mpumalanga Black Aces and ask them if they could loan the player to us as he would be registered on January 1 2014 when South Africa’s transfer window opens. Ndoro remains a Mpumalanga Black Aces player.”

Zifa communications manager Xolisani Gwesela on Wednesday issued a statement regarding the football mother body’s position on the player.

“Consequently, the transfer of player Tendai Ndoro was not processed because South Africa Football Association (Safa)’s transfer window period had closed on September 2.

Chicken inn FC entered the transfer instruction into the transfer matching system on the September 13.

“We would like the football fraternity to kindly note that the player Tendai Ndoro can only be transferred to Mpumalanga Black Aces FC during the second Safa transfer window period which opens on January 1 2014 and closes on the January 31 2014,” Gwesela said.
