Moyo reopened Destiny Academy early this month after securing a licence to work with high schools. The academy closed a few years ago due to a myriad of problems.

“People used to tell me that I am too young to open an academy. I had a lot of difficulties securing premises, my landlord increased the rent and when I sought help from loved ones it didn’t make sense to them,” he narrated his ordeal leading to the closure of the academy in 2011.

Moyo, however, expressed joy that he has managed to reopen the academy.

“I am glad now that my family supports me,” he said, adding that they will groom models and actors for a period of three months after which successful candidates would receive certificates and be ready for the big screen.

In March this year Moyo landed a role as the lead character for a Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation drama series titled Mr Perfect.
