Mmeli Dube, Butholezwe Kgosi Nyathi, Nthombiyezansi Mabunda Tozana and Thulani Moyo pleaded not guilty before Victoria Falls magistrate Sharon Rosemani for contravening Section 25 (1) (b) of the Public Order and Security Act (failure to notify the regulatory authority of a public meeting).

Their lawyer Lizwe Jamela filed an application for discharge at the close of the State’s case arguing that the State had failed to prove a case against his clients. Jamela confirmed the new development yesterday.
