A 29-YEAR-OLD Cowdray Park man yesterday claimed he was possessed by sexual demons that influenced him to rape a six-year-old schoolgirl.

This came to light when the man Justine Bhebhe appeared before the Western Commonage provincial magistrate Willard Mafios Moyo facing a rape charge.
He pleaded guilty to the charge and was remanded in custody to November 21 for judgment.
Bhebhe claimed demons seize him and cause him to long for sex, which might have caused him to call the girl and rape her.
“I sometimes feel am possessed because I fail to control myself,” he said.
“I think I have sexual demons that want sex and when I’m possessed I become mad and sometimes masturbate.
“I apologise to the little girl and her family, it was not my intension to do that.”

Prosecutor Mufaro Mageza told the court that on the fateful day, the child (name withheld) was playing at a friend’s place just after school when Bhebhe stood by his door step and summoned her.
The child went running since she had been called by an elder and was commanded to go inside the house, where she was directed to the bedroom and was commanded to lay down facing upwards.
The girl told the court that she was told to lie down when the man took off his clothes.
“I could not ask him what he was doing because I was afraid,” she said.
Bhebhe then told the minor not to tell anyone.
However, the girl immediately told her friend who them told her parents and the matter was reported to the police, leading to Bhebhe’s arrest.
