VOCAL Extraordinaire (Vocal Ex), an inter-denominational grouping of gospel musicians, in collaboration with the National University of Science and Technology students representative council, is set to host South African gospel artiste Xolly Mncwango for the The Next Chapter concert scheduled for May 10 in Bulawayo.

The concert will be held at the National University of Science and Technology’s Ceremonial Hall.

Vocal Ex founder Thembelani Mdlaziba said the concert was one to remember, with a new generation on the rise and being the 6th of its kind.

"We recently celebrated 10 years, alongside Canaan Nyathi and Everton Mlalazi, a testament of growth over time and it can never be any less than a continued celebration and the Lord's hand upon us," Mdlaziba said.

"We will praise and worship together and experience the power and move of God in a mighty way."

Xolly Mncwango recently shone bright at the 2025 Metro FM Music Awards, securing two gongs for Best Female Artiste and Best Gospel Album.

Alikho Igama, Liyabasebenzela, Ukubonga and Yebo Nkosi are some of her songs which put her on the gospel music map.

She will be making her debut appearance in Bulawayo.

The concert will feature various gospel musicians, including Snowy, Tehilla Testament, Spirit Praise Choir, Lorraine Maplanka and Faith Mucha, among others.
