REVONIA Ndaba (26), a member of Bulawayo all-female dance group, The Divas, is set to release her debut music video off her single Thina Yithi.
SINDISO DUBE OWN CORRESPONDENT The video shoot, which took place in the city on Wednesday and was conducted by ZBC, is expected to be released any time before the July 31 elections. “The video is about urging my fellow youths to go and vote in the coming presidential elections and not to wait for someone to make decisions for them on what will have a bearing on their future,” Ndaba said. The video will feature other musicians such as Eric Moyo and Diana Chiwereva. It was shot at different sites that include Barbourfields shops, ZBC Montrose Studios and TM Bradfield. Michele Madua, founder and manager of The Divas, was ecstatic about the shoot when Southern Eye Lifestyle caught up with the group. “It is exciting doing our first video. It is a dedication to youths and we are encouraging them to go and vote for their future,” she said. “Our elders did what they did in their time and we should also do it for our children. Let us not wait for the next person to make a decision for us, as it is our right to vote.”
