When it finally comes, like it did on Saturday with Bulawayo-born Otis Fraser, they make the most of it on the dance floor. Fraser’s set in the Big Brother Africa: The Chase started off with a few old school international tracks and slowly worked the housemates’ appetites to a variety of their favourite African artists such as P Square and D’Banj.

The dance floor, as big as it was, carried the housemates every move as they moved together in rhythm, led by dance queen Beverly of course. But what would a Channel O party be without the current Ruby couple Beverly and Angelo being all lovey-dovey with one another? We just hoped they wouldn’t fight and just enjoy themselves fully as this marked the second last party zone session for this season.

Biggie had given them one bottle to drink and they shared it among themselves strategically as they danced next to the DJ. As usual there was drama after the party, but not as intense as it usually has been.

The boys of the Ruby House put the women on the spot and asked them which of the men currently in the house they would choose to be with if they were not in other relationships.

Dillish and Beverly had made their choices, but Cleo was at a loss for choice. Elikem was the instigator of this particular exercise as he went round the room asking the women left on The Chase which guy would they prefer between Bimp, Angelo, Melvin and himself.

Beverly had chosen Bimp, but Cleo kept laughing as Elikem insisted on an answer. At first Cleo said she’d have chosen Bimp for a Monday, Melvin on a Tuesday and so on, but the guys felt that she was avoiding the question. Elikem kept at it and when she was about to say who she thought she would be with, Angelo jumped in and mentioned Bimp and Melvin’s names.

And so they took that as her response to their question, but still Elikem wanted her to choose between the two. Dillish came to her rescue saying that it was rather difficult to answer their question because the men in the house at the moment have different attributes she would like in one man.

She said she like Elikem because he’s fun, Bimp because he’s gentle, Angelo because he’s entertaining and Melvin because he’s sweet. “All of you guys have characteristics that I would like in a man,” she had said.

Angelo, Bimp and Dillish were up for possible eviction last night.
