ANDRESIOUS Cyprianos of Georgians House broke two records at the Christian Brothers College (CBC)swimming competition held at the school on Wednesday.

Cyprianos broke the Under-20 50m backstroke by 1,04secs winning it by 28,96secs from the last record of 30,00 seconds achieved in 2000.
He also beat another 1997, 27,50secs 50m butterfly record winning it in 27,50secs.
His house, however, came second in the swimming contest after Davidians who clocked 519 points with the Georgians getting 457.
Andreans House came third with 399 points with Patricians at the bottom with 271 points.

Cyprianos won eight trophies in the competition, six for the freestyle, breaststroke, backstroke, butterfly, individual medley and becoming the best Under-20 and two for winning the 200m freestyle and backstroke in the open section.
Bruce Dale of the Davidians picked up five trophies for being the best Under-14 after winning the freestyle, backstroke, butterfly and individual medley.
In the Under-15s it was Dylan Ferguson, the best in that age group taking six trophies.
Brendan Cyprianos of Georgians won six trophies in the Under-16s while four trophies went to Robert Zeelie of Patricians in the Under-17s for being the best and winning backstroke, butterfly and individual medley while Bersal Williams of Georgians won two trophies in freestyle and breaststroke.
Meanwhile, the Matabeleland Swimming Board of Control will host the third swimming gala this summer season at the City Pool this evening.
