The Mtshingwe Primary School pupil allegedly went blind in class after the “visit” of the “little man”, believed to be a goblin, who told her to go to a certain address in Cowdray Park.

The girl’s mother told Southern Eye yesterday that she took her daughter to a prophet in Mutare after other efforts had proved futile.

“I am happy to tell you that my daughter can now see again. I took her to a renowned prophet in Mutare who prayed for her.

“The prophet did everything for free. Next week she will be joining others at school and I thank God for what he has done for my daughter,” the mother said.

She first consulted an optometrist who could not diagnose anything and prescribed spectacles for the girl instead.

An optometrist said the girl was probably pronounced normal because doctors could not find any causal factor that could be attributed to blindness.
