AFRASIA Zimbabwe Limited Bank, formerly Kingdom Bank, yesterday said it had lifted cash withdrawal limits.
Sekai Chitemerere, head of public relations and corporate communications said automated teller machines (ATMs) that had been disabled were also back in use.
Chitemere was reacting to a story published by Southern Eye Business yesterday, which she said had since been overtaken by events.
The bank had said the cash limits were put in place to ensure that all clients had access to available cash.
AfrAsia changed its name from Kingdom Bank which was founded by Nigel Chanakira. Chanakira who has since left the group.
