The seven-track album was recorded in Masvingo. It is a collection of church hymns that are fused with contemporary beats.

The Lupane State University student — studying a degree in languages and communication — said he was happy that he had finally released a project since music had been his passion from a tender age.

“I am happy that I have finally released my work. I have been working hard and lots of people assisted me to make sure that this album became a success. I have been in music since I was young,” he said.

The album was mastered and mixed by Hofmeyer Madzinga. All the tracks were lifted from the Zaoga church hymn book.

Musara added that he had started depositing copies to various media houses and of late his songs seem to be appealing to the public.

“I am happy that my music is being played on radio stations. I hope if my album continues to receive more air play in radio stations, it will make waves in the country’s gospel scene. Those who have listened to it have received it with warm hands,” he said.

Some of the tracks include Mweya Wemasimba, Huyai Tibate Basa, Makanaka Ishe, Holy is the Lord and Thank you God
