The association comprises the United Baptist in Zimbabwe, Baptist Convention of Zimbabwe, National Baptist Convention and Baptist Union in conjunction with the International Commissions based in the United Kingdom.

According to pastor Godknows Muto, the theme of the crusade would be based on the great commission of Matthew 28:19 that makes discpiles of all nations.

Muto said speakers at the crusades include pastors Chris Cowan, Sornia Burnell, Nhamo Chiguyi and a Jambaya, among others.

Muto said the crusade targeted people from all walks of life.

“We encourage people to welcome those that will knock on their doors to preach the Word of God and pray,” Muto said.

His colleague pastor Jeffrey Mwanyenga said a march would be held at 10am from the City Hall car park to Mzilikazi Baptist Church marking the opening of the crusade.

He urged all Baptists to live by example and pray for the country during this period.

“All members of the Baptist Church should attend the crusade and participate in various events that have been lined up during the one week,” Mwanyenga said.
