The fines are, according to the PSL standing order offences and fines, as of the month of August.

Highlanders were fined $2 000 for pitch invasion and missile-throwing by fans during a league match against How Mine on July 6 which Bosso won 2-1 and for missile-throwing by fans during the 0-1 defeat to Dynamos on
August 9.

Following the violence on August 9, a Highlanders fan Thembelenkosini Hloli was murdered after he was stabbed outside the stadium by suspected Dynamos supporters.

The Bulawayo, giants currently in turmoil regarding the status of head coach Kaindu, face censure from the PSL for the violence that erupted at Hartsfield Rugby Grounds when they lost 1-3 to ZPC Kariba on Sunday after their fans threw missiles onto the pitch and an ambulance was stoned.

ZPC Kariba said two of their players were injured while a Bosso juniors player, who was a ball boy during the match, received a cut on the head.

Highlanders welfare manager Willard Mashinkila Khumalo has also been slapped with a fine of $125 after he was expelled from the technical bench following a protest against referee Thomas Masaa’s decision to wave play on when striker Gabriel Nyoni was brought down inside the penalty box on the stroke of half time in Bosso’s first league match on April 5 at Ascot Stadium.

Champions Dynamos maintained their “position” at the top of the bad boys’ charts as their fines total $5 125 to date.

Last term, the PSL had to garnish their Castle Lager League title prize money of $70 000 after hitting them with heavy fines of
$64 000 for various offences.

This time Dynamos were slapped with a $375 fine for failure to provide cleaned dressing rooms during a match against Harare City on April 27. They were fine $250 for failure to provide requested information on time (team sheets) during their league match against Caps United.
