The show would be a first for the duo who command a big following in Bulawayo’s night life circles.

DJ Mzoe and DJ Zet Factor will spin the decks at the Private Lounge, representing the City of Kings.

Sean Hassen, aka DJ Storm — the organiser of the contest — said the event was part of the Sunset October Beer festival.

He said it would help market Bulawayo artistes in Harare as a way of bridging the gap between the two cities.

“Bulawayo’s top two DJs, Mzoe and Zet Factor will meet the Harare spinners, DJ Storm and L Roy,” DJ Storm said.

“All along I have been working with DJ Mzoe in trying to get Bulawayo artistes known better here.

“Our artistes have been going to Bulawayo and have gained popularity and this time it’s their turn too.”

DJ Mzoe told the Southern Eye Lifestyle that the show was an opportunity for him to showcase his talent in Harare.

“This will be one of the craziest nights people in Harare will witness and we will leave them wanting more,” he said.

“We will play our local music from Bulawayo as a way of marketing music from the City of Kings.

“Most of the times it’s Harare artistes touring Bulawayo. This is our chance.”

DJ Mzoe said revellers should expect unique creativity and a scintillating performance.

DJ Zet Factor said they felt honoured to represent Bulawayo and vowed not to disappoint.

“I am happy to be teaming up with DJ Mzoe. We will set Harare ablaze,” he said.

“We have a special surprise for the people in Harare which we have never done here at home.

“They should come in their numbers and witness the Bulawayo talent.”
