MMEP Productions representatives Limz and Nqobani said they came across Kadder’s work online and were impressed by her ability and potential for growth.

The all-expenses paid musical video shoot for her latest single Siyaphapha took place on Monday last week at Esibayeni in Mpopoma suburb. The song was written and produced by Mjox at Emafletsini Studios.

“The song talks about breaking barriers and floating over any challenges I face in my carrier. It’s a dance track which makes for a good party song. In the video I featured two pantsula dance groups, Snipers and Shikisha,” Kadder said.

“The song also praises my recording studio Emafletsini Studios for continuing to strive despite tough situations,” she added.

She said she was humbled by the latest developments.

“I am quite honoured as this means my work is really appreciated and I am moving in the right direction. I am now even more motivated and inspired to work smarter.”

On future prospects, she assured her followers that big things were in store for them, including collaborations with the City of Kings hip-hop rising star Cal-Vin Nhliziyo.

“There is something big coming up although I’m not at liberty to reveal anything yet. However, part of the exciting happenings this year is that I will be collaborating with Cal-Vin,” she said.

“My message to those who dream of breaking into the industry is they should be focused, passion driven and tough because the industry is no child’s play. I strongly advise them to pursue their studies because knowledge is power and they can have something to fall back on if music does not pay off.”
