Speaking to the Southern Eye Lifestyle, entertainment officer of the college’s students’ representative council Eugene Mkhothamo, said trainee teachers decided to mark the lovers’ day through the pageant.
“We will be holding a modelling pageant at the Great Hall which will start from 7pm till late to search for Mr and Miss Valentine’s Hillside Teachers’ College.
The pageants will show their talent off through modelling. The entrance fee would be $1 for two people,” Mkhothamo said.
“There will be lots of fun, good music, so people can dance and shake their bodies on the day.”
The pageant will crown the college’s first prince and princess, second prince and princess as well as Mr and Miss personality.
Mkhothamo said there would be tight security and everyone was welcome to attend and have fun with students.
