The All-Africa Games will be held in Congo Brazzaville in September and the Zimbabwe senior men and women’s final squads will be announced today.

Women’s coach Laddie Munetsi confirmed that the team would be selected today.

“We are yet to select the best players for the final team that will represent the country and we have been practising very hard for some time now,” he said.

“I’m very optimistic that the team is now ready to face other competitors. The team should win all the games that they will play and I believe the women now have all it takes in terms of preparedness.”

The men’s team, will be coached by Chewie Gilbert who was due to arrive in Bulawayo yesterday.
