Bumper Easter Castle Lager PSL

A TOTAL of 14 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League matches will be played over the Easter weekend to fulfil match day three and four fixtures with How Mine hosting Caps United on Thursday at Luveve Stadium.

Six matches will be played on Good Friday as Chicken Inn, who suffered a 0-2 defeat to Harare after collecting maximum points against Flame Lily in their first game, hosting new boys Tsholotsho FC at Luveve.

A few kilometres away, Highlanders will return to base but this time at home when they entertain Hwange at Barbourfields Stadium.

In the capital, giants Dynamos, who collected their second set of three points with a win over Chapungu at Ascot on Saturday, take on debutants Dongo Sawmill at the National Sports Stadium.

ZPC Kariba will be hosting Buffaloes at Gwanzura while in the Lovweld, the Kelvin Kaindu-coached Triangle entertain Chapungu at Gibbo Stadium and in the Midlands, prisons side Whawha will host Harare City.

The teams will rest on Saturday but action resumes on Easter Sunday with only one match being played as How Mine travel to Harare for a date with Flame Lily.

FC Platinum’s game against Harare City has been postponed as the Midlands side will be hosting Young Africans of Tanzania in the second leg first round of the Orange Caf Confederation Cup after suffering a 5-1 mauling to the East Africans two weeks ago in the first leg.

On Easter Monday, another six matches will be played around the country with Caps United and Dynamos meeting for the third time this year as they clash in the Harare derby at the National Sports Stadium.

Highlanders will be travelling to Manicaland where they will play Buffaloes at either Vengere or Sakubva, according the fixtures released by the PSL on Friday.

Chicken Inn host Whawha at Luveve while Dongo entertain Triangle at Vengere. Tsholotsho will be at home at White City Stadium to Hwange while Chapungu host ZPC Kariba at Ascot.
