The Philani “Beefy” Ncube-coached Bulawayo City look to continue their winning ways after beating Old Nic Mine 1-0 last week and lead Chiefs by two points with 36 points from 16 matches.
Chiefs, under the guidance of another former PSL coach Thulani Sibanda, are on 34 points and last week returned to winning ways, keeping the competition lively after turning the heat on Ntabazinduna Prison with a 1-0 win at home.
Bothwell Nyathi was on target for City with Kundishora Chakanyuka scoring for Chiefs.
Dark horses, Casmyn, promoted from Division Two after Magwegwe Pirates failed to pay Zifa affiliation fees, are on the third spot and tomorrow, they are away to Indlovu Iyanyathela at HQ1 Brigade after they played a 1-1 draw with Nust at Turk Mine last week.
Casmyn are on 29 points from 16 games, seven behind City and two points above former PSL side Bantu Rovers, who lost to Technosphere 0-1 last week in Hwange.
Bantu Rovers, coached by Highlanders legend Johannes Ngodzo, are at home against struggling Mpumalanga at Luveve Stadium tomorrow.
