Zanu PF stand director and designer, Raybon Sengwayo, said the party provided the exhibition space to 70 SMEs for free to showcase black empowerment.

“There are well over 70 SMEs at our hall. Zanu PF created the platform for SMEs to come and showcase their products, and also learn to build contacts and grow their business. It’s a business principle created through the home of Zanu PF to invite, grow and engage SMEs,” Sengwayo, who is also a member of Zanu PF’s business development and liaison department said.

“The principle is based on the Zanu PF formula where you grow from cell, to branch, to district, to province and national. It’s our second time at the ZITF. We designed this stand based on the business and liaison department which is run by SMEs minister Sithembiso Nyoni.

“We provided the platform to allow the SME’s to grow within the ZITF centre. They are having fun, they are growing, partnering, deals are being signed and we have had all sorts of international visitors to our hall.”

The ZITF opened on Tuesday and runs until Saturday under the theme, Innovate, Integrate and Industrialise.

Togolese President Faure Essozimna Gnassingbé, will officially open the annual trade showcase tomorrow, the day it opens its doors to the public.
