DJ Jabs releases album on women empowerment

In an interview with NewsDay Life & Style, Ndlovu said the album seeks to  empower women, hence the inclusion of female artistes.

A LOCAL artist, Bramwell Ndlovu, known as DJ Jabs, has released an album with Team Nkalakatha titled Love Language, a multilingual masterpiece that features 20 artistes from Bulawayo.

Love Language has 23 love songs, making it his second studio album after ‘Selimathunzi’ in 2010.

In an interview with NewsDay Life & Style, Ndlovu said the album seeks to  empower women, hence the inclusion of female artistes.

“This album is my brainchild as DJ Jabs and Team Nkalakatha. We aim to empower youths, particularly women, through music hence most of our featured artists are female,” Ndlovu said.

“The target audience is everyone regardless of gender, race, tribe, or religious belief. There is a song in this multilingual masterpiece that will cater for them."

Ndlovu said the motive is to spread the message of love and positivity in communities, entertainment and unite citizens through music. The project also seeks to empower unknown talents by giving them a platform to shine.

DJ Jabs is a BAA award winning music producer. He has been behind the scenes producing professionally since 2010 and has worked with several seasoned artistes across the globe.

He has album credits with the likes of Speedy’s The Gift and Eddy Kenzo’s Made In Africa and Blessings. DJ Jabs has also collaborated with high profile musicians such as Innos B, Eddy Kenzo, Professor, Big Zulu, Nokwazi, Daniel Ho, Masaka Kids Africana.
