BULAWAYO’S gaming landscape has become a whole lot more exciting with the launch of a bowling hub called Table & Pins Chillanathi.
The facility promises to bring friends and families together for some competition and fun.
In an interview, Tables & Pins Chillanathi general manager Nonhlanhla Gopo told Southern Eye that they decided to launch the game so that Bulawayo residents can have fun with their families and friends.
“We saw the need for a safe place for all age groups. We wanted to provide a place where families can come, make memories and where workmates can hold functions and maybe chill after a long day,” he said.
Gopo said the city lacked chilled vibes, which is why they saw it fit to open the bowling club.
“We noticed that Bulawayo does not have a place that accommodates all age groups. We have soft music that works for almost every function. We noticed we lack places that allow you to eat, have fun while you brainstorm with colleagues,” she said.
Gopo said they had completed 70% of the project.
She said the gaming hub was not targeted at any specific group, everyone was welcome to play.

“We are targeting everyone in the city ‘uBulawayo wonke jikelele asikhethi bala…’ I have to say this in vernacular to further emphasise that we are open to anyone. We are open to every tribe and race. Therefore, we are appealing to residents that they should not shy away from visiting us,” Gopo said.
She said management would engage social media influencers as brand ambassadors.
