Wu Masters to redefine music sales, ownership

The track, aptly titled ‘Wu-Masters,’ promises to deliver a fusion of cutting-edge beats and lyrical prowess.

German producer Dirty Fangz recently unveiled an exclusive Non-Fungable Token (NFT) collaboration with Wu-Tang Clan's Inspectah Deck and Söhnemannheims rapper Metaphysics. Söhnemannheims is a pop and soul band from the city of Mannheim in Germany.

The renowned producer is gearing up to launch theground-breaking limited edition NFT featuring a collaborative track with hip-hop royalty, Wu-Tang Clan's Inspectah Deck, and local legendary wordsmith Metaphysics.

The track, aptly titled ‘Wu-Masters,’ promises to deliver a fusion of cutting-edge beats and lyrical prowess.

Scheduled for release on December 8, the exclusive NFT drop will occur on the innovative platform sound.xyz which is a crypto music publishing platform based in New York City.

The song will be limited to only a thousand copies worldwide and will only exist on the ‘blockchain’ which is a digitally distributed, decentralised public ledger that exists across a network.

Unlike conventional releases, Wu-Masters will not be available for streaming on popular platforms such as YouTube or Spotify. The track cannot be streamed for free and will not be available anywhere else but can be owned as an NFT.

Ownership of this exclusive piece is secured through NFT purchase. “What you can do is collect it. You buy and own it,” Dirty Fangz told Standard Style, adding that NFT is a new way of exploring the sales of music and puts ownership back in the hands of the buyer. “It allows the seller or the musician the ability to see who's buying their songs,”he said. NFT represents a unique opportunity for fans to own a piece of music history.

Some of Dirty Fangz's collaborations include features with American rappers KRS-ONE, Snoop Dog, and Wu-Tang Clan, among others. His innovative approach to music production, combined with the legendary status of Inspectah Deck and the rising talent of Metaphysics, ensures that ‘Wu-Masters’ will be a collectible for both hip-hop enthusiasts and NFT connoisseurs alike.
