A MURDER suspect, who shot and killed his nephew in 2018 following a misunderstanding over infidelity, is still on the run.
Midlands provincial police spokesperson, Inspector Emmanuel Mahoko, said they were appealing for information that might lead to the arrest of Mthandazo Sibindi in connection with the murder of his nephew.
“Circumstances are that the late Trymore Sibindi, who was 27 years old at the time of his demise, came back from Python business centre, Silobela, where he had gone for a beer drink and found his wife not in their bedroom," Mahoko said.
"His suspicion about his wife sleeping in Mthandazo Sibindi (his uncle)’s bedroom led to a misunderstanding which ended in him being allegedly shot dead by his uncle."
He said Sibindi was still at large, seven years after the tragic incident.
“We are informing the public that we are still looking for him and we appeal for information that might lead to his location and arrest,” Mahoko said.
