DJ Zinhle’s music school robbed

South Africa’s queen of house music, Zinhle Jiyane,popularly known as DJ Zinhle, lashed out on Twitter following a break into her music school Fuse Academy.

JOHANNESBURG — South Africa’s queen of house music, Zinhle Jiyane — popularly known as DJ Zinhle — lashed out on Twitter following a break into her music school Fuse Academy.

The popular DJ of one of Mzansi’s hottest dance floor tracks, My Name Is tweeted that they broke into her school and stole equipment on Monday.

“They broke into my school and stole our equipment. I feel invaded, but what’s worse is they are also stealing from all the girls we train,” she tweeted.

In another tweet she added that it will be hard not to close the school down since it’s been targeted by thieves.

“We will get through this even though it is taking everything in me not to close down Fuse Academy permanently. I love SA, but this is too much,” tweeted DJ Zinhle.

DJ Zinhle said she could not comment on the matter at the moment. “I am at the police station right now. I can’t speak. Please try me later.”

Fuse Academy is a DJ school for girls offering a 10-week course at a cost of R3 000. It offers girls with a passion for playing on decks a chance to equip themselves with the acquired skills.
