Sibanengi Ndebele, also known as Dj Mzoe, confirmed the show to Southern Eye Lifestyle yesterday.

“It is going to be a good show. It’s Dj Stavo’s first time in Bulawayo, revellers should expect nothing but fireworks,” Dj Mzoe said.

His act is slated for Saturday night till Sunday morning. Local Djs Mzoe and Ash T will warm up the decks ahead of the Kwekwe-based disc jockey.

“We would like to encourage fun lovers to come and witness what will be the best night ever with a commercial level disc jockey” Dj Mzoe said.

“As Djs in the private sector, we are happy to share decks with our counterparts who are doing this at commercial level, this will go a long way in uniting artistes and also in developing our club culture,” Dj Mzoe added.

Dj Stavo’s manager Prince Dambanevana, urged music lovers to come and join the party.

He added that Dj Stavo will put up a good show, as it is his first performance in the City of Kings.

Dj Stavo is riding high with the single Yolo which featured Trevor Dongo and Sweet Love with Roki, Ex Q, Botswana’s Simple Night and Zeus.

Recently, he shot a music video with South African kwaito star Mandoza for the track Mnandi.

Born in a family of three, the artiste grew up in Kwekwe and is married to Kudzai with whom he has two children, Shaun and Jamie. His speciality is in urban grooves, R&B and hip-hop.

DJ Stavo, also known as the Kwekwe Hustler, runs Golden Mile Motel and King Solomon’s Night Club in Kwekwe.
