The Zorai Butter hit maker will perform at Club Vegas 999. Macheso’s last show in the city was in December last year.

In an interview with Southern Eye Lifestyle, the Sungura music maestro said he will put up a scintillating performance.

Event organiser Tafadzwa Maridhadhi echoed the same sentiments, adding that Macheso would deliver the best and that the departure of some of his group members had in fact, strengthened the band.

The musician was deserted by three key band members Jonas Kasamba, Noel Nyazanda and drummer Obert Gomba. But he appears to have shrugged off the setback by recruiting replacements that have proved to be equally talented.

Macheso’s manager William Tsandukwa said Sungura fans had requested for Macheso to come to the City of Kings.

Macheso has recovered from an ankle injury he suffered in Guruve a few weeks ago.
