HAVE you ever sincerely asked yourself why you are in your current state?
Languishing in debt or facing perpetual marital problems, there is a law that attracts those things to you. On the other side, people are accumulating money despite how much you spite them. There it a law governing wealth creation; it is called the law of attraction.
The law of gravity, as an example, says everything falls down. Irrespective of how high you throw a stone up it will surely return down. If you were to jump from a skyscraper you would definitely come down with a (disastrous) heavy thud. This does not respect whether you are rich or wretched, smart or stupid; you will definitely hit the ground.
That’s how the law of attraction works; whether you respect or disrespect the law, it affects you. Whether you are conscious or ignorant of the law, still it affects you.
In explaining the law of attraction, a popular brain researcher and entrepreneur John Assaraf says: “You become what you think about most, but you also attract what you think about most. Most people think of what they don’t want and they are wondering why it shows up, over, over and over again”. Here are nine things to attract the best to your life, precisely in the facet of finances:
Learn: Your mind can be controlled by loading it with what you want to accomplish. For example, I was not born a success speaker, but because my interest was in that, I have researched so much that to date I have read over 60 books on success. And due to my orientation, I have attracted different organisations or corporations that want my services. What you continually think about, you will become an expert in it!
Look: You capture what is in focus. For example, the camera will, at all times, capture the object that is in focus and the opposite is impossible – if it’s not magic. Don’t dub your mind on poverty problems like lack, limitations, fear, debt, negative circumstances and expect to be rich someday. Remember: life is a physical manifestation of what goes on in your head.
Link: Your networks determine your thought pattern. Relationships, friendships and social circles have same dominant thought line and if it’s not good, it will attract bad wave-lengths towards your life.
Listen: What gets onto your ear has an effect on the conscious mind and if entertained long enough it alters sub-conscious mind. Positive news stimulates great ideas. Listening to good music evokes your adrenaline to release a positive emotion. Listen to what evokes waves of success in your mind hence attracting like waves of success.
Visualise what you want: The best way to do this is to stick pictures of your dreamt future in your office or bed room where you will see it every day. This could be a dream house or car; eventually your brain will instruct every body tissue to align to that thought line.
Believe what you want: The Bible calls it faith. Napoleon Hill in the famous book Think and Grow Rich says: “Faith is the eternal elixir which gives life and action to the impulse of thought.”
Set big goals: Your goal should be big enough it can blow your mind!
Decide early: On who or what exactly you want to become. For example, if you want to be a millionaire, write it down and state as to when you want to have a million dollars and as to how you are going to get it.
Declare it: A countless number of people are always complaining and spitting out because of bad situations. It’s time to flip the coin: Wake up in the morning, look yourself in the mirror, square up your shoulders and say: “I’m great, I’m a millionaire and I’m a guru.” Say it in present tense.
Parting point: “You attract not what you want, but rather what you are”. (Robert Miles citing James Allen in the book How to create Wealth like Warren Buffet). Your current realities don’t define your destiny, but they show the effects of your past thoughts. To change your current realities change your thought patterns as soon as possible and attract the wealth!
