Bulawayo Metropolitan Province SRC co-ordinator Sam Dzvimbu said so far the exercise was going smoothly and they had received a good turnout from districts.

“We have conducted the workshops with Reigate, Khami and Mzilikazi districts and the turnout was good — especially for Mzilikazi where we had over 120 participants. The exercise is going smoothly,” Dzvimbu said.

“We still have two other districts remaining, Bulawayo Central and Imbizo. As it stands we are behind time because we should be done with these two districts by Friday, but what I can say is that we have set Thursday (tomorrow) for Bulawayo Central and we are yet to confirm the date for Imbizo,” he said.

Dzvimbu said the districts should be through with playing their internal leagues by November 9, register on or before November 16 to allow the SRC to prepare for the provincial games set for November 23.

Bulawayo Province is hosting the national YES festival in December after successfully hosting the Zimbabwe National Youth Games for the second time in August where the province came first.
