Believe you can!

IN my previous article on goal setting strategies, I said: “You attract to yourself whatever you have been thinking.”

Henry Ford, who invented the first car engine, is quoted as saying: “If you think you can, or think you can’t, you are right.”

He was right.

If-you-believe-you-can

Belief is the fuel that drives businesspeople or network marketers to be as strong or as weak as they believe in themselves.

You have to:

  • Believe in your business,
  • Believe in your products,
  • Believe in your company, and
  • Above all believe in yourself.

Your attitude determines your altitude and belief comes before success!

Belief comes from within. Remind yourself every time that “you are you,” unique and special.

You are not a replica of somebody else. Consequently, your goals are not set to please or impress someone else.

This is your life and you won’t live someone else’s dream. You deserve success.

Eighty percent of all communication is self talk. Harbouring negative thoughts in your brain will stifle your ability to realise your dreams.

So, let it be a habit to read at least one motivational book every month and also make sure to associate yourself with successful people in your company as this will go a long way in improving yourself esteem and posture, thereby increasing your chances of achieving your goals . . .

. . . If you are among people who don’t add “value” to your life start to loosen ties with them and seek the company of people who are positive, enthusiastic and very supportive instead.

Yes, you could have failed to achieve your goals in the past. However bad your past experiences could be, the truth is you can start on a clean slate today and set yourself for a phenomenal success.

Certainly, you would not have the wisdom and the abundant knowledge you now posses, thanks to the setbacks, disappointments, mistakes and suffering you went through. Precisely, we learn the most from our most difficult challenges.

Robin Sharma in his book entitled Who Will Cry When You Die had this to say: “Once and for all, come to realise that pain is a teacher and failure is the highway to success. You cannot learn how to play the guitar without hitting a few wrong notes and you will never learn how to sail if you are not willing to tip the boat over a few times. Begin to see your troubles as blessings, resolve to transform your stumbling blocks into stepping stones and vow to turn your wounds into wisdom.”

Look for ways of increasing your belief factor in yourself and in your business and let nothing disturb you on your path to success. Be unstoppable and never give up even when you are facing turbulent times.

Your slogan should always be: “I would rather die for an idea that will live, than to live for an idea that will die.”

Wish you the best.
