UPCOMING local hip-hop musician Lee Chigogo — popularly known as Leentainment — is set to launch his 10-track debut album titled Unleashed before the end of the week.

The rising musician will launch his debut album first in Bulawayo and then later in Harare.
Chigogo told Southern Eye Lifestyle the album features artistes such as Kasi Lunatics, Nashie and POY, among others. The album contains three hit singles — Vehondo, Dariro and Bad news.
“The title track Unleashed, portrays me as a person who has been suppressed for a long time in the music industry, watching helplessly as others excelled,” he said.
Chigogo said the track portrays his life as a struggling artiste facing financial challenges and discouragement from peers and parents.
“This album is going to be a hit,” the ambitious young artiste said.
He added that he had managed to work with different producers like popular disc jockey Face-to-face, BOBS of Nu Era records and LaJoshe of D.O.P.E studios.

Chigogo urged other musicians in Bulawayo to work together to revive the music industry.
“I believe if you can make it in Bulawayo, you can still make it elsewhere in the world. I would like to thank my mother who has been financing the album, my former manager Nqobani Nyathi and the artistes like Ras Python, (KLAP) Kasilami Art Platform, and Phat T who have helped me in this album,” he added.
