Langa told Southern Eye Lifestyle on the sidelines of the show that she was excited about the single.

“The track is about celebrating the gift of love and appreciating our loved ones.

“It is a beautiful feeling to be in love and feeling the love,” Langa said.

The upcoming artiste featured local disc jockey Ryan Synth on the track.

“I roped in local producer Tawanda ‘T Krued’ Mauchaza. I really respect his works and it is an honour to release a song he has played a crucial role in,” she added.

Uthandiwe is Langa’s second single after Impilo yam’ which did well on radio.

“After Impilo yam’ I hope the new track will be much better since this song gave me a platform to explore elements that I never thought I would,”

“Fans should expect my debut album in March and it is going to be epic because I am roping in Skaiva, Mark Vusani and a lot of Bulawayo and Harare DJs,” Langa added.

The musician — also a model, television host and student — revealed that it was hectic combining all these roles in one and it was all about passion and loving what she does.

In her short career she has worked with some of the best musicians in Zimbabwe such as Alexio Kawara and Willis Wataffi.

Langa reckons with such exposure she could be able to learn and apply the knowledge in growing her craft.

The Bulawayo-born Langa grew up in Luveve. She did high school at St Columba’s and currently she is reading final year at the University of Zimbabwe in a Political Science degree.
