Ganyani, famed for the hit track Xigubhu which topped charts for the better half of the year, will headline the Bohlingers shutdown party organised by Delta Beverages.

Ganyani — real name Ganyani Tshabalala — would be making his debut performance in Zimbabwe.

The show, aptly titled “Bohlingers Woza 2014 gig”, will see the fiery turntable master sharing the stage with 15 local disc jockeys.

The show has also become a permanent feature in the country’s calendar over the last three years.

DJ Ganyani has been in the trade for the past 20 years.

The Bohlingers annual party was first held at Queens Sports Club in December 2011 with Oscar Mdlongwa (Oskido), Jah Seed, Madluphuthu and Winnie Khumalo, the late Brown Dash and Alaska putting the lid on a year of memorable beats and music.

Last year South Africa’s DJ Bee, Channel O video jockey Eltonik, Soul Candi’s first Lolo (vocalist and DJ) and Durban’s Afrotainment star DJ Gukwa were the main acts.
