CAIRO-Orange CAF Confederation Cup enters the first round, first leg ties this weekend across the African continent with some mouth-watering games on schedule.
After some fascinating contests in the preliminaries, competition is expected to hot up and defences become meaner and strikers eager to poach more goals.
Going into this weekend’s fixtures two players head the goalscoring chat, Kudakwashe Musharu from Zimbabwean club side How Mine is joint top with the 1,94m tall Senegalese striker Mame Niang who plays for South Africa club SuperSport United.
Both of them have found the net three times as their clubs prepare to face the Seychelles’ St Michel United and Kenya’s AFC Leopards respectively.
