JOHANNESBURG.Kickoff.com has learnt that Orlando Pirates have made inquiries about the availability of Mpumalanga Black Aces’ Zimbabwean striker Tendai Ndoro.

The Zimbabwean striker has been on fire since joining Aces in January this year, scoring seven goals in 16 League games.

Ndoro, whose price tag has been put at $1,5 million, has been linked with a few other teams in Gauteng besides Pirates for next season.

League champions Mamelodi Sundowns are also nosing around as is Greek side Olympiakos.

Speaking to KickOff.com from his home in Zimbabwe, the Amazayoni goalscorer refused to talk about the rumours linking him to Pirates and referred this publication to his agent, Karabo Mathang, for further comments.

“I can’t talk about anything, please speak to my agent, Karabo in South Africa,” Ndoro said.

Mathang, South Africa’s first female Fifa agent, confirmed that there had been interest from local teams, but denied the story last week that his client was set for trials in the UK.

“I am surprised about the report that Ndoro is going to England for trials. I am the only person handling his affairs. There are a few local teams that have shown interest, but I can’t divulge their names at the moment,” she added. — KickOff
