In their last game the platinum miners restricted log leaders Highlanders to a 1-1 draw away from home and they will be seeking to add to their tally of just two wins in their previous five matches when they return home.3

Before that they had thumped Triangle 4-0.

Black Rhinos will be itching to keep the momentum having won 1-0 against fellow combatants Buffaloes in their last match which was their only win in previous five assignments.

There is not much separating the two with both teams managing only three wins apiece in their opening ten PSL matches, though the Zvishavane side has collected three more points ahead of their weekend opponents with a point tally of 13 against Black Rhinos’ 10.

FC Platinum coach Lloyd Mutasa will be hoping to quickly make amends to their indifferent start this season, an objective he is optimistic could be achieved and would be aided by the clean bill of health in his camp.

“Playing at home is big motivation and the target is to win our home matches. We want to get back to winning ways and I am confident we can do that though it will not be easy and I think it is going to be a tough game for both teams. We have an entire arsenal at our disposal for the weekend game unless something happens between now and the match day,” he said.

Black Rhinos coach Arthur Tutani, enjoying a clean bill of health, is full of respect for his opponents.

“We are playing a very good team which is managed properly and they have a very good technical department. They are a difficult team to beat at their home ground, but I hope we will have a good game,” Tutani said.

“If we play well then we can talk of getting a positive result, but at this stage I cannot talk of winning or losing. Morale here is high because of last week’s win and everybody is available for selection.”
