BULAWAYO-BASED model-cum-rapper Shanice Pullen, aka Alaina, is set to launch her debut music video for her single Juice Box next week.
SINDISO DUBE OWN CORRESPONDENT The video launch has been scheduled for July 26 at Old Miltonians Club.
Alaina said she enjoyed shooting the video which was directed by one of Zimbabwe’s top video producers Andy Cutta.
“It was the most exciting thing on earth. The filming process taught me a lot of things. It’s lot of hard work and persistence, but I am grateful to Andy and the cast which was pleasant and awesome to work with, I can’t wait for everyone to watch it,” she said.
Alaina said Juice Box is a love song.
“It’s more of a love song. It’s something you would want to dedicate to that someone extra special that just makes you feel amazing,” she said.
Alaina broke into the music scene in January with a single titled The Business and later released Juice Box and featured United Kingdom-based Rhyme Assassin on Beautiful.
The upcoming musician was crowned Miss Teen Bulawayo and second princess Miss Teen Zimbabwe 2011.

“I started off as a model. From the age of four I had always wanted to be on stage. I took up a modelling course and entered a lot of pageants,” she said.
“Music has always been part of me as I grew up singing with my aunt and now I can’t get enough of the studio.”
