Chemhanza defeated Oriel of Harare 2-0 while Chidyamakono beat St Francis 1-0.

Primrose Musiiwa was the hero for Chidyamakono with her goal deciding the contest against a fighting St Francis. For Chemhanza, it was Tatenda Tumba who was the star-of-the show with his mesmerising skills and was involved in the both goals as the defending champions overpowered Oriel High.

Tumba, who was voted the best player and midfielder of the tournament won the free-kick that was converted by Kelvin Dube and his reverse, or rather, a no-look pass, freed Takudzwa Chiwerenga for the team’s second goal.

A dream team of 20 players each in both the girls and the boys’ categories was selected by a panel of journalists after the tournament. The boys team selected will go for a camp in Kenya later in the year while the girls will make the Zimbabwe team that will compete at the Cossasa Games in Zambia next month.
