The band members were welcomed by ecstatic fans at the Harare International Airport.

“We are taking a short break till end of the month to visit our families in Victoria Falls and to plan,” Mokoomba, said in a statement posted on Facebook page yesterday.

“We will share with you soon our concert schedule for the next few months.”

Mokoomba dispelled speculation the group had been booked at Dandaro Inn in Harare on August 15 as has been advertised by the venue.

“The concert was scheduled without proper consultation and we are hoping that professionalism will prevail.

“We apologise for any inconvenience and disappointment that will be caused to our fans and we promise that we will be playing more local concerts in venues and cities we have not played before so we can share our music with more and more fans around the country. Many thanks,” the group added.

During the tour of the US and Canada, Mokoomba received rave views from the international media.
