The song was launched at Cape to Cairo in Bulawayo.

The track that has followed his first album Unleashed features award-winning hip-hop artiste Nicholas Muchinguri, aka POY.

In an interview with the Southern Eye Lifestyle yesterday, Leentatainment said the track was released early August and claimed it would be the best hit for the summer so far.

He said the launch was done at a show dubbed Bigger than Hip-hop.

The Vehondo hitmaker said this time he decided to rope in POY, pointing out that he is a talented and an easygoing person who is not a problem to work with.

“Siyabasukumisa (We will make them stand up) basically talks about how we are going to make people stand up to local music and my music,” he said.

It is pretty hard for a new music artiste to get people excited about him in Bulawayo compared to other places.

He said the song was making waves and had gone viral on social media.

Leentatainment went into some detail about the sound and its inspiration.

“This time l tried to go fuse and blend hip-hop and urban grooves.

“The instrument is of hip-hop origin and fused with electro dance.

“There’s a lot of live instruments, and a lot less auto-tune.

“I wanted to demonstrate my vocal ability to create the vibe and sing along.”

He said some artistes such as Mzoe 7, KLAP and Upper Klass collaborated in support.

The rising musician had song Vehondo breaking the charts for 20 weeks in Bulawayo’s Top 10 in ZiFM. He has released tracks like Loja lami, Dariro and Bad News.

He has shared the stage with Trevor Dongo, Mzoe 7 and Nashie.
