The uniformed forces, coached by Warriors legend Agent Sawu, is now on 32 points leading Tsholotsho FC by a point after the Lizwe Sweswe-coached side was held to a goalless draw by Plumtree Chiefs in Tsholotsho.

Ntabazinduna, Tsholotsho and Plumtree Chiefs have played 16 matches apiece with ZPC Hwange now on 27 points from 17 games. Plumtree Chiefs are now 29 points.

However, Hwange-based Technosphere on 30 points, were yesterday due to take on Black Boots in Fairbridge later in the day and the result of that match had a bearing on the log standings.

Tsholotsho last week lost their first match of the season 0-1 to ZPC Hwange in the coal mining town as the fight for the sole Premier Soccer League ticket gets stiffer in the league.

In other matches played on Saturday, Mpumalanga beat Quelaton 2-0 in Hwange while struggling Old Nic Mine got their second win of the season after edging Hwange Juniors 1-0.

Trumus were due to play New West City in Victoria Falls yesterday while Portland Cement did not pitch up for their game against Elephants FC at HQ1 Brigade.
