The GameCocks are fighting for a berth in the Mbada Diamonds Cup together with the trio.

Hwange are on position five, Bosso on sixth while Chicken Inn are on position seven on the log table with 41 points from 28 games.

While Chicken Inn will be playing at Hartsfield, Hwange will be hosting FC Platinum at the Colliery and Highlanders meet Shabanie Mine at Maglas Stadium in Zvishavane.

Chicken Inn coach Joey Antipas said their target was maximum points.

“It is our last home game, so we are aiming at getting three points,” he said. “We want to finish our last home league match in style. We want to get maximum points, but our qualification for the Mbada Diamonds Cup will depend on how other teams play this week and the last league matches.

“However, we go into this match a depleted side. We have been hit by lots of injuries. We played three games in six days so that took a toll on our players.

“Passmore Benard is out injured for the rest of the season. Brian Mbiriri is suspended, but we have the youngster Divine Lunga who can play in that role. Danny Phiri is injured while Ben Nyahunzvi is in Harare because of bereavement.”

Mbiriri is serving a suspension after accumulating three yellow cards while the Buffaloes pair of Lloyd Katongomara and Liberty Chakoroma are also out.

Buffaloes are on position nine with 36 points from 28 games. They would want to win on Saturday as they have not collected a point in their last two outings.

They lost 1-2 to Caps United on Sunday and lost 1-3 to championship contenders ZPC Kariba.
