The four-track album has the songs Gore Rangu featuring Nashie, Calvary, Methembe Njalo and Nyamazuvara.

Sibanda told Southern Eye Lifestyle that she was excited about the release of the second album which was produced at Bulawayo’s Kira Music Studios under producer Percy Nkomo.

“I realised at times it is not easy to approach someone and tell them about Jesus, therefore, I decided to package that good news into an album so they could listen and hopefully transform their lives,” Sibanda said.

“The album has a reggae, mbira and deep worship feel and carries a message of hope to those who feel discouraged.

“The title track Methembe Njalo encourages people not to give up on God. If you have trusted God once and your situation did not change, keep on trusting him because our God never changes.”

Sibanda said she was inspired by South African gospel musician Hlengiwe Mhlaba, adding that she had chosen gospel music because it brings people closer to God.

The Bulawayo-born musician started singing in the Bible Life Ministries Church choir.

She has shared the stage with prominent gospel artistes such as Mai Charamba, Takesure Zamah Ncube and Pastor G.

Sibanda performed at the Bulawayo Theatre with Sabastian Magacha and Dumi Nyongola on December 25 2014.

She has performed alongside the much-famed dancehall artiste Jah Prayzah in Harare.
